The requirements listed below are only available for students who enrolled at CSUCI with a starting date before Fall 2019. However, we highly recommend that you follow the updated major requirements. There are only four emphasis in the updated major compared to the eleven concentrations found here.

Concentration

A concentration is required for completion of the B.S. in Mathematics. In order to plan their activities, by at most the end of their sophomore year, students should decide on one of the following concentrations. See below for the requirements for each concentration.

Upper Division Requirements (20 units)

All math major students, no matter their concentration, must take these upper division core courses.
